South Milford Surgery is a 3-partner, semi-rural practice, situated in the village of South Milford located within the District of Selby.
The Doctors, Nurses and staff at South Milford Surgery are dedicated to providing high quality health care in a friendly, professional and modern setting, to all its patients, whatever their needs.
We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient's needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur, as well as providing specialist management of long term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your own home such as order repeat prescriptions, book or cancel an appointment online if you are registered for this service. You can also use eReception below to book routine appointments or if you have an enquiry regarding you medication etc anyone registered at the practice can use this service.

Flu Vaccination Plan - September 2020
This year we have to follow social distancing guidelines to ensure the safety of all our patients and staff. We are offering the unique opportunity for you to attend our new drive-through and walk-through flu vaccination clinics. These will enable us to maintain safe social distancing measures and minimise the potential for cross infection. The entire drive-through procedure will take place in the comfort of your own vehicle.

COFFEE MORNINGS - ALL INVITED - COME ALONG AND JOIN US
The Surgery will be holding coffee mornings with invited guest speakers from the NHS and outside bodies on a regular basis in 2020. The coffee mornings will be held every 1st Tuesday of each month in South Milford Village.
The coffee mornings have been postponed until restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic have been lifted.
EXTRA CLOSURE DAYS 2020
As well as Public Bank Holidays, the Practice also closes from time to time for staff education and training, this is externally organised by the NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group and is in line with all GP Practices within the Vale of York CCG.
On the following afternoons the Surgery will be closed for staff training from 12:00 noon:-
- Thursday 16th January 2020
- Thursday 30th April 2020
- Tuesday 7th July 2020
- Thursday 15th October 2020
When calling the surgery after 12:00 noon on any of the above dates, please listen carefully to the recorded message.

eReception is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to enable patients to contact the practice. We can only reply to your enquiries between 8am and 5pm Monday - Friday. Outside these hours we will respond the next working day. Weekend submissions will be dealt with on Monday.

Please note: eReception should only be used for routine enquiries - please do NOT use eReception for urgent matters. If your matter is urgent please speak to reception directly either by phone or in person at the surgery.
Please also be aware that if you are wanting to book an appointment with a GP or a nurse, eReception is for ROUTINE appointments ONLY and these may be up to 4 weeks in advance

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the online service for booking appointments is temporarily "out-of-service". All appointments are by telephone triage ONLY. You can still use eReception for routine queries.
You can still use Systmonline for ordering repeat medication.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
You need to be registered for SystmOnline to use this service.
To register you will need to complete a "SystmOnline Application" form. Go to the Patient Resources page here where you will be able to print and complete the form.
Once registered, if you have a Smartphone, you can download the SystmOnline mobile app which is available for Apple and Android devices free of charge from the relevant app store.
You can now contact the surgery online to tell us about your non emergency medical problem or ask an admin question. You can ask for help anytime, anywhere within the UK and with any device. Using online consultations allows us to quickly and safely decide on the best way to help you, your child or an adult in your care.
