Extended Access & Out of Hours

Non-urgent advice:

In the event of illness outside of surgery hours, North Yorkshire Urgent Care Doctors are responsible for providing out-of-hours care in the practice area between 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.

Please ring 01977 682202 and an answer phone will give you the information you need to access this service.

Between the hours of 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm the out-of-hours doctor is available on NHS 111, calls to this number are free from both landlines and mobile phones.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy, so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
