Dr Lovisetto graduated from Sheffield in 1998 and joined the practice in 2002. He has a particular interest in dermatology and joint injections.

Dr Kemp graduated from Leeds in 2007 and joined the practice in 2017 he became a Partner in 2018. He has a particular interest in mental health and dementia.

Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Mrs Helen Taylor

MSc ANP RGN

Helen graduated from Leeds in 1991 as a RGN. She then trained to become a Nurse Prescriber and qualified in 2009. To further her medical career and interest she re-trained to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Masters level and graduated in 2013. She has a particular medical interest in mental health, hypertension, minor illnesses and skin conditions such as acne and eczema.

Rosie graduated as a RGN. She then trained to become a Nurse Prescriber and completed this qualification. To further her medical career she re-trained to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

A Specialist Nurse will undertake many of the nursing procedures at the surgery, such as child immunisations, ECGs, dressings and injections. They are also trained to perform annual reviews with patients who have long term chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Pre-Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, heart disease including hypertension. They undertake separate training for each type of problem, so not every nurse can undertake all types of reviews if they haven’t completed training for all. Both our Nurse Practitioners are registered Non-Medical Prescribers.

Our Practice Nurses or Treatment room Nurses carry out nursing procedures/duties including smear tests, ECGs, hearing tests, blood pressure checks, adult & children immunisations, dressings, diet & healthy lifestyle, family planning & reproductive sexual health.

Our dispensers are responsible for dispensing medicines, medical equipment and appliances to patients, upon the presentation of a prescription to patients from the surgery GPs.

Our Patient Services Team have a demanding and difficult job. They are the first point of contact when either telephoning or coming to the surgery and will always attempt to deal with your requests as efficiently as possible, although this can occasionally take some time. Please be patient, especially during busy times.

Our Facilities Team are an important and integral part of the Surgery Team. They deliver a high quality of healthcare cleaning, which is complex, demanding and not to be underestimated. Their aim is to ensure all areas of the Surgery are cleaned on a daily basis to a high standard and that any cleaning related risks are identified, minimised and managed on a constant long-term basis.
